Get a local, regional or long distance map.  Use it to plan a road trip!  

Once you've planned your route, embellish the experience with research about the sights along the way and in the towns and cities you'll go through.  Even if you don't have the time to actually take the trip, the planning is lots of fun!

In fact, you may find that you're having so much fun with this, a single 2 (ish) hour Artist Date just isn't long enough.  You can get 2 or more Artist Dates from this 1 idea:)
