I am soooooooo excited!  Today, the solar oven that we bought a few months ago is out of the box and getting conditioned!  I've wanted one of these things for-ever!  Right now I can't actually remember when I first heard about such a thing.  I'm guessing early 80s.  Wow!  I / we own a solar oven!!! Yeah me / us!!!  Living in the Okanagan Valley, where sunlight is plentiful each day and lasts more months than any other where in Canada is bonus! 

This weekend we'll cook our first meal with it – together, even better.  Now, to search for 100 mile ingredients. This is soooooooo awesome.  I am proud of us.
